Armenia’s third city registers increase of emergency medical service calls

Armenia’s Vanadzor city registered over 350 calls from Dec 31 till Friday morning, head of the Ambulance Service department Samvel Sahakyan told the Armenian News-NEWS.am adding that calls increased compared to last year.

“They were mainly connected to kidney illnesses, blood pressure, alcohol abuse as well as injuries,” he said adding there were false calls too.

In response to the question what was the attitude of the population towards Ambulance employees, Sahakyan said that majority have positive attitude, while attacks on doctors still take place.
