We have completed construction for the new location of Mooradian Gallery in Hollywood, CA.

Author Sato Moughalian will discuss the life of her grandfather, David Ohannessian, who established the art of Armenian ceramics in Jerusalem. She is the author of ‘Feast of Ashes: The Life and Art of David Ohannessian.’ She will discuss her grandfather’s journey through the Genocide, enduring arrest and deportation before reaching Jerusalem. Copies of ‘Feast of Ashes’ will be on sale at the lecture.

The lecture will explore how the Armenian community in the Ottoman Empire reorganized and protected its exstence during the Armistice period, 1918-1923. Dr. Ari Sekeryan will present a talk on the new chapter of the Armenian community in Istanbul after October 1918. The lecture presents an overview of the political and social developments that happened in the Ottoman Empire during the Armistice period.
