FIDE: Levon Aronian is 17th
The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has published the monthly ranking table of chess players. Former Armenian team leader Levon Aronian (USA) is ranked 17th.
Representatives of Armenia Gabriel Sargsyan is ranked 41st and Hayk M. Martirosyan is 58th.
The top 10 includes world champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Ding Liren (China), Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia), Alireza Firouzja (France), Hikaru Nakamura (USA), Fabiano Caruana (USA), Anish Giri (Netherlands), Wesley So (USA), Vishy Anand (India) and Sergey Karjakin (Russia).
