Exclusive Interview with UNF Champion Parkev Khachatryan, Sponsor Raffi Barsamian

LOS ANGELES (Sept. 5) – In a recent interview with USA Armenian Life Magazine, UNF Flyweight Champion Parkev Khachatryan and his sponsor, Raffi Barsamian, shared insights into the fighter’s journey in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). They also talked about their athletic goals to pursued in the near future.
Khachatryan, will compete on September 28 at Commerce Casino under the banner of Up- NextFighting (UNF). He has been training for the past two and a half years in MMA.
Prior to this, his trained and excelled in karate and freestyle wrestling, creating an impressive track-record in both Armenia and Russia.
Khachatryan holds the title of UNF Flyweight Champion, competing in A longtime Russian ally says it’s frozen its participation in Putin’s NATO ‘at all levels’ after a year of snubs the 125-pound category. His coach, Karen Darabedyan, has been instrumental in his development. Raffi Barsamian, his sponsor, recognized Khachatryan’s talent through videos featuring his previous fights. Impressed by his skill and knowledge of the fighting industry, Barsamian decided to support the rising star, confidently stating that Khachatryan is on a path to the UFC.
